Creole black bean vegan paella

Get these groceries at home:

  • 90 gram Creole spice paste from Sorgh & Hoop
  • 100 grams of onion
  • 80 grams tomatoes
  • 500 grams of vegetable mix
  • 400 grams of black beans
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • Rice for 4 people


  • Chop the onion and tomato small
  • Boil the rice and replace part of the water with coconut milk
  • Drain the black beans


  • Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the Creole spice paste in a frying pan.
  • Add the vegetables and stir-fry until crispy
  • Add the drained black beans.
  • Fry the rice with the dish
  • Add salt or pepper to taste.

  • Fresh Caribbean Salad: mix black beans and corn with diced tomatoes, peppers, avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, honey
  • Fill half a pepper with rice and possibly a layer of cheese at the bottom and cook in the oven or on the barbecue! or grill!
  • Fry cubes of chicken fillet or smoked or veggie with the Creole herb paste. Shrimp are also delicious to fry with!
